The much awaited 'Hum Jee Jaan Se Khelein "was finally Launched with a mahurat in Goa on November 1910. The movie Which is a first-time-ever collaboration between ace director Ashutosh Gowariker and PVR Pictures Will feature Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
A period thriller, inspired by the Chittagong Uprising of 1930, "Hum Jee Jaan Se Khelein" is based on the book 'Do and Die' by Manini Chatterjee. Talking about the maiden collaboration Sunita Gowariker, Producer, and AGPPL Said, "" Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se 'is a film for Which Ashutosh Gowarikar Productions and PVR Pictures Have Come Together For The First Time with Their' Wow 'and' Jaan '. We are excited to Collaborate with our theme as partners / co-producers for this film. PVR-being, we look forward to great exhibitors a great association with Ajay and Sanjeev Bijli bone healing. "
A visibly excited Ajay Bijli, Chairman and MD, PVR Ltd, echoed Gowarikar's sentiment. "We are proud to associate with AGPPL for 'Hum Jee Jaan Se Khelein. We are excited about the story idea, and tremendous Have Faith That Will Ashutosh and his team make a great movie, Which Will be remembered in the years to come, "he said.
Which is the movie to be shot in Goa, is eyeing a release in the 4th quarter of 2010. Already though Abhishek Bachchan HAS arrived at the location, Deepika is Expected to join the unit soon. Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar penned the song HAS for the movie and Neeta Lulla Has Been roped in to design the costumes. Art direction by Nitin Desai will be done while Kiiran Deohans is the director of photography.
